Cynthia Zelaya-Robinson

Development Director & Grants Manager

Cynthia is a classically-trained soprano from Los Angeles, CA. Her career in music education began in 2009 when she was an Arts Bridge Scholar at UC Irvine’s School of the Arts. In 2013, she joined the staff at Harmony Project, where she would go on to manage the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s largest youth orchestra at the time, YOLA at EXPO. Since 2018, she has worked for various music organizations including From the Top, the LA Philharmonic, Youth Orchestra Salinas, and, most recently, Global Arts. Her passion for arts education and equity is fueled by her personal experience of not having access to music instruction at an early age.

When she’s not busy raising money for Global Arts, Cynthia spends her time chasing her toddler, singing, climbing, and planning her next adventure.
