Bob Terry

Bob Terry

Someone once said that they never met a person with more of a social conscience than Bob Terry. Bob would disagree; saying he met many. Bob believes that a life is not important except for the impact it has on other lives. Some people see things as they are and say why; Bob  dreams things that never were and say why not. Bob always says that none of us are ever going to change the world, but each and every one of us can change one aspect of it for the better, and perhaps, collectively, we can change the world.

Over the years, Bob has been involved with many nonprofit organizations, including The Center for Reflective Parenting, Heart of Los Angeles, Hospitaller Foundation, Rotary, Good Shepherd Home for Homeless Women & Children, The St. Vincent de Paul Society, Lift Up the Vulnerable, The Ebell of Los Angeles, Homeboy Industries, and many schools. Bob is thrilled to now be an advisor to Global Arts.

Besides being very involved with nonprofit organizations, Bob has spent over 50 years in the investment and banking industry with many firms including The Irving Trust Company, Financial Corporation of America, Shearson Lehman, Paine Webber, Wells Fargo and others.
