Music education for youth in LA’s
Pico Union neighborhood
Global Arts Programs
After-school music classes for youth and professional development workshops for educators.
Youth Music Programs
We partner with local schools and community centers to bring music education to areas that lack accessible arts programming. We currently work with 4th and 5th graders at Camino Nuevo Castellanos and high school/young adults at the Pico Union Project.
Workshops focus on educational psychology, musical excellence, and social justice, and will be led by world-class presenters from varying backgrounds.
Our mission is one of educational equity and advancing social change. Come join us!
We’d love your expertise
Whether it’s supporting our staff, helping parents & families, or offering music lessons, we’d love your help.
Your support matters!
Our sustainability depends on people like you. Consider making a one-time or continuing donation.
Sponsor a student
You will cover the annual cost of your music buddies classes and be in touch with them throughout the year.
I admire my teachers so much! I look up to them not only as music teachers, but also as people. They were there for me at my best & worst times, being there to help me with both my musical & personal struggles. I could turn to them no matter what. I genuinely believe that I would not be the person and musician I am now if I did not have them in my life.
